I love visiting elementary schools and inspiring students to bring stories to life with both words and art. My “Drawn to Storytelling” program is interactive from start to finish so kids are never bored. We learn about where a book idea comes from, read “Swim, Jim!” with a call-and-response for the onomatopoeia words, write and draw our own story from scratch using the “story rollercoaster” method, and finish up with your choice of “Worm and Caterpillar are Friends” or “Bitsy Bat, School Star.”
